Prehistory of Arkansas: Exhibit and Presentation

  • Siloam Springs Museum 112 North Maxwell Street Siloam Springs, AR, 72761 United States (map)

Join us for an informative presentation at the museum on native peoples of Arkansas during different periods of Arkansas prehistory by Dr. George Sabo, director of the Arkansas Archaeological Survey. This will include discussion of the Caddo people of the Ozarks and the Goforth-Saindon site, which is located just south of Siloam Springs. While visiting the museum, take time to view our new temporary exhibit on Arkansas prehistory, Crossroads of the Past, which will be open December 10th - 19th. Do you own arrowheads that you have questions about? Bring them along! Dr. Sabo will also examine points and answer questions. No appraisals.
